Established in Winchester in 1947 our shop, in the shadow of the 900 year old Cathedral, has served countless clock enthusiasts, collectors and investors for over 50 years.
During this time we have supplied many rare and important clocks by such eminent makers as Thomas Tompion, Joseph and John Knibb, George Graham, Daniel Quare, Abraham Louis Breguet, Ferdinand Berthoud, Thomas Mudge, Antide Janvier and others.
Gerald Marsh, apprenticed in 1950 until 1955, served in the Royal Air Force, completed his National Service and has since continuously worked with clocks and watches at the bench as well as specialising in the purchasing and selling of these rare antiques. When not in Winchester he spends considerable time working in the United States of America; whilst doing so the business is in the very capable hands of Darrell Dipper, a Director, who has been with the company for 25 years.
Our specialist team of clock and watch makers have, collectively, experience of over 200 years and are complimented by our 4 strong team of cabinet makers who have exceptional skill and experience.
Recently we have been fortunate in adding to our workforce a certified restorer of Rolex and other quality makes of watch.
In our endeavour to continue this horological restoration business we encourage young, suitable applicants to serve an apprenticeship in our workshop.
