The 18ct. gold open face case with push pendant for the repeat, engine turned reverse with vacant cartouche, ribbed band and gilt cuvette signed, 'Berthoud a Paris.' The highly decorative four colour gold, skeletonised dial with small central enamel chapter ring having Arabic numerals and gilt spade hands, being flanked by two figures which appear to strike the bells above when the repeat is activated, there being a concealed, automated erotic scene below the'6', revealed by a slide in the band and activated when the watch is repeating. The gilt fusee movement with verge escapement, pierced balance bridge and silvered regulator disc, being quarter repeating on two blued steel gongs.
