The 18 carat gold case profusely decorated with floral engraving throughout including the stem and bow, having sprung front cover with vacant cartouche, hinged back and cuvette. The white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer minutes chapter, blued steel spade hands, offset seconds at VI and a power reserve dial at XII, being signed 'CHRONOMETER BY THOS. RUSSELL & SON 80358.' The keyless fusee gilt movement with Earnshaw spring detent chronometer, blued steel 'duo-in-uno' hairspring and screwed-in jewels, being signed to the top plate ' No 80358, MAKERS TO THE QUEEN, CHRONOMETER BY Thos. Russell & Son LIVERPOOL & LONDON.

The condition of the case is exceptionally crisp, showing almost no signs of wear.
