The good quality, key wound, Swiss movement with lever escapement, bi-metallic temperature compensated balance and blued steel hairspring, being fully jewelled throughout.
Skull watches have an horological tradition going back to the first 'form' watches of the early 17th century. They were used as momento mori, being presented as gifts to the recently bereaved.
